I have one in my Honda 1800VTX motorcycle and it started up no problem after sitting all winter, not sure why yours discharged in 4 days?

What issue is that?

I'm just glad to hear that your ok. Insurance can replace the bird so you can fly again. It does speak volumes on the safety of the design. One of the reasons I picked a Kolb.

I'll be driving down for the week. Looking forward to meeting up with Bryan, and meeting any other Kolbers!
