Thanks Walt. Yep I've had these issues with a plane in the past that used automotive master cylinder and aeromotive brakes. Had to swap out the rubbers.
Luckily most O Rings these days are Nitrile. ... |

Hey there, did you get to the bottom of your brake issues?
I have a soft pedal on my 55m and have pulled the master cylinder.
Need some rubber parts, do you know of anything available ?

Hey all.
My 55m keeps getting a soft brake pedal on one side.
Airs getting into the fluid , but we can't see a reason why. Any ideas ? Steve. |

It will depend where you live and who writes the rules and regulations.
Here in New Zealand they require the bottle is removed and pressure tested every 5 years and borescope inspected every year or ... |

Thanks guys, I take it these are operating shear loads on the bolts and they need to be at least 50% more than that.
Also, seems strange the fitting go oval and the bolts don't wear.
