I'm using an IVO ultralight 70". It's a few lbs lighter than the GSC I removed 2.5 years ago. |

There might be aircraft out there where the flaps blank the airflow over the tail and you lose control. Just a theory. But, I have never had a problem slipping my Speedster, with or without flaps.

My suggestion and 1 cent worth (not really worth 2 cents) is to send it back to the factory and let them do it. If it needs refinishing then it might need to be carefully inspected. |
