These caps vary.
You need to check that you have sufficient fuel flow without extra venting.
Drilling out the 4 vent channels on the rim may help. Beware - the cap is quite thin.

Check.out the Matco site. They have it all documented. It takes a reasonable amount of pressure to push fluid up through the system. A light mineral-based oil will work well. [quote][b] |

Well, I tried Roger's idea of cleaning things up and ground running at 4000rpm.

I have a very slight oil leak somewhere near the lower front of the engine.
Not enough to show in oil usage - at 850hrs still does not use oil between 50hr changes.

have a VDO gauge and sender 10-180 Ohms for oil temp.
It has gone to full scale reading, and will not respond to either earthing or higher ohms at the input. The sender is working OK.

I've just fitted a Dynon SV32 pitch servo to a Jabiru J170C, but not yet test-flown.

A friend's engine has abt 300 hrs.
There is no spark at the plugs.
The AC voltage into the ignition modules is abt 9v.
