Van's can't talk about it. I bet it was settled out of court and some money was paid by Van's and EI. No wonder it cost $200k+ now. |

I fly and land near my aft CG limit all the time. It is sensitive, but easily controllable, even at night...IF you are sober.

To check for any flow restrictions, you should see at least 42 gph if you unhook servo inlet line and run boost pump. |

I'd put longer bolts and bushings in there, so that fairing gets damaged less by tow bars. It will be fine. None of them fly perfect, so don't sweat it. |

I think mine is about .050-.060". Paint will close the gap some and you'll want some expansion room. |
