Kolbers,
I have been here two years, and so I have checked out just about everything
in the county. I have watched several large animal facilities while they
were under construction. I check out the race track west of Winchester on
weekends during the season. The latest point of interest has been a new
ethanol plant. But today as I headed for the airport, I noticed a plume of
smoke to the east toward Union City. Flew over and found that about one
block of industrial buildings along the railroad track were completely
ablaze. Quite a sight from the air. Flames were leaping to about two
hundred feet into the air. The smoke drifted a little toward the northeast
until it hit about 1,000 feet agl. At this point it was carried away by a
wind coming strong out of the southwest. I made a couple of turns on the up
wind side and headed back to the airport.
You just never can guess what you are going to see.

Jack:
Go to the Cabela's Catalog. Get yourself a pair of expensive
thinsulate/gortex lined shooting gloves. I have been flying with a
pair I bought nearly 20 years ago. Still fly with them when
necessary. They are all I take on the Arctic flights. Probably cost
40 to 50 dollars, but well worth the price. Can manipulate dials,
switches, and cameras.

Hey guy,s I will be staying in the campground over by the corn roast
area. If any of you get over that way stop in and sit a spell, I would be
glad to have ya.
I am in the market for a new digital camera, mine has the old smart
media card which they don't make anymore, just my luck. I know many of you
have been posting pictures and videos . I am looking for advise as the brand
and type of camera you are using .All advise will be appreciated. I have
been using a Olympus D-460 and has been a good camera. They just don't make
the card for it anymore so I guess it is time to get a new one. Contact me
off list. Thanks for the Info..
