Uncle!
I must be a total retard, I am so confused by the wiring of my 914... help!
As back ground information, I have a Control Vision Corp. EXP BUS 2 with
two batteries.
The current (sic) problem is not understanding how to wire up the
regulator at points R, B+, C. And, what to do with the capacitor. What
size wire, wires? come out of R and B+.
Can anyone direct me to another reference other than the Rotax manual
Thanks, anyone know a good counselor ?

Ralph

Hi Ralph,

If you have are using the rotax standard alternator regulator combination, the R, B+ and C termanals are to be connected together.
Also the capacitor +! goes there.

On request from another builder I produced a diagram for an ExpbusII. I
have slightly downsized the attachment to comply with the forum
restrictions. If anyone wants an original contact me off forum.

Hi Ralph.

I had the same problem - 914/Expbus. Made contact with Nigel Charles - who
very kindly constructed my system.

It's based on the Expbus wiring diagram and built up to my specifications.
Nigel has since laid it out in the Europa Flyer (issue 45, June 2005).

If you don't have this magazine, I'm sure Nigel will send you a copy of the
diagram.

Hope this helps

Hans

Oops,
I see what has been in front of me all along. It's tough having ADDS.
The schematic even show the proper wire size... oh well. Sorry, I will
try to have a much harder question next time.
Thanks again to all,
Ralph
