Hi:
Any one knows where I can get, a self contained iron (batteries perhaps?)
if only i had get the phone on the tv. add unit...
.
I have not checked Radio shack...
I need to solder, small wires 22 gauge,, but I do not have the power outlet
close to the Cockpit....no ,extension cord will not work....

The shack has a propane soldering iron that works great. Don't forget the
to buy the propane lighter fluid

In my previous life as an electronics engineer, I used a small rechargeable
on which also had a light on it and temperature control tips for different
applications. It is just perfect for our applications. I can't remember
the manufacturer or supplier, but I'll find out tomorrow. I'm planning on
purchasing one myself.
