FYI. Hope to see some of you guys there, and would appreciate some formation demonstrations if Palmetto Flight is looking for a place to practice. The box is waivered all the way to the ground if you want to practice any low-level stuff… Scott

Subject: IAC Chapter 19 - September 8 at Rowan County Airport (Salsibury, NC - RUQ)
Hi Everyone,
Just an early reminder that we plan to meet at Rowan County airport (RUQ), Salisbury, NC, on Saturday, September 8th for our September meeting and practice. We will plan to begin at 10:00AM.
EAA Chapter 1083 will be serving breakfast and lunch so we should have plenty of good food. We also encourage RV'ers to attend to learn more about aerobatics, so if you know some of these folks, please invite them.
I have applied for an airspace wavier for an aerobatic box on the southwest side of runway 02. The FAA has provided a verbal approval so final paperwork should be ready by September 8th.
Just as a reminder, in accordance with IAC headquarters, to be covered under our IAC insurance policy, those wishing to practice aerobatics must have their airplane tech. inspected as we do at our IAC contests. I have attached a copy of the Technical Inspection form for those not familiar with it, so please plan to bring the following if you plan to fly in a practice. That way you will be covered and we will be in compliance.
For the aircraft:
- Airworthiness certificate
- Registration
- Operating limitations (copy OK)
- Weight & balance
- Proof of aircraft current insurance (copy OK)
- Proof of current annual inspection (copy OK)
For the pilot:
- Pilot certificate
- Current medical
- Photo ID
- Current flight review sign off (copy OK)
- IAC card (can join at Shelby)
For the parachute:
- Log of current pack (if your chute needs repacking, I'm sure you can use another member's)

Hope to see you on September 8th!
Thanks,
Larry
