Went flying in formation with a friend today. Not very far but we crossed the Oslo fjord and I took a short video: Here it is:

As you can see, no snow near the coast. It has been a very mild winter.

I go to the site and it gives me QuickTime downloads and the cost to install

.. What? Incredible what people do in order to get your money, Jeff. QuickTime plugin is free. Of course, they try to sell what they call QuickTime Pro, that has more functions. Anyway, I converted it now to Flash. I guess you have the Flash plugin in your browser. Try this:

Anway, it's not a very interesting video. I have only a tiny Sony camera with limited video ability. But the sky was so nice with the low clouds and the sun piercing through them ... of course, it is not half as nice once on the video but ... as a pilot you'll know how to adjust for it!

all you need to do is right click on the link and "save target as" onto your desk top. then you have the vid forever, and Michael does not get hit with using too much bandwidth.

This picture was taken from the air about a mile away from my home. All the land you see here are islands although often it is hard to tell where the mainland ends and the island starts This si about 200mi form L’Anse Aux meadows the way the Seagull flies.
