Len - That's a good looking and fun setup on the Avid. Where were you and what are the
fish? Had you been hunting too? Where _do_ you put that rifle? Must take some skill to
get all that gear packed.

lol, you don't get out too much do ya lol... those are ducks... the 870's are strapped to the jury strut.
That was my brothers KF II. The area is just across cook inlet from Kenai, the flats south of the Kustatan river.
There was not a baggage area in his KF II so all the gear goes in dry bags strapped to the top of the float. You can easily put 100 pounds on each float. I have had 4 5 gallon jugs strapped to the top of the right float and my gear bag on the left one. Not for the faint of heart, but in that case it got the job done.
My Avid has a baggage area from the back of the seat to darn near the front of the vertical stab. All controls are covered so nothing can get tangled in the mixers. The previous owner had put the baggage area in but you had to pull some of it out to fold the wings so the control rods could swing in. I slotted it a little but have yet to fold the wings out since I put it all in so it is not finished. I will clean it up and re-make some of the floor plates when I get home next week so it is a clean install.
