I have a paint job on my CJ that was painted by BRC Aviation in Ohio. I was told its called a Wolfen paint job. The log book states it was painted in Imron 5000/6000 and the formula's are on file at BRC. BRC is now out of business. Does anyone else have this paint job or knows how to find the paint formula's?

Kelley- my bird was also done in an Imron 5000 by Air Spectrum at Quincy, Illinois by a guy named Rodney who also paints L-39's from AirUSA at the same airport. Give him a call at 217-885-3455. He may be able to help you.

I have had great success with paint matching from the local DuPont paint dealer. Our DuPont store will send a person to the hangar with their digital "camera" and "shoot" the paint colors needed which then digitizes and stores the paint colors. From the data stored in the camera they are able to match the paint. I was having great difficulty with the local paint supplier trying to hand mix paints to match, which they never seem to do unless there is a paint chip that is an exact match to what's on the airplane.
