For you guys still in the shop here's some inspiration Bob and I at 0730 pulled her out of the hangar....60 degrees, winds light and variable....two very nice ILS approaches and four touch and goes followed by a squeaker before pushing back into the hangar..fuel burned...11 gallons...now it's off to lunch!! Jesse=2C because I built a plenum=2C I also built the side panels so I= could simply screw/bolt the plenim directly to the top of the side baffles= . =3B It's all on cadcam and we just run it out to the shop where it ge= ts punched out just like Van's does... then over to the brake to put a 90 d= egree 3/4" lip on the top.... =3B so it's already =3Bsetup.... I'm = going to make Pascal a set=2C and he/we were just trying to find out if the= re were any additional issues. =3B =3B
Linn=2C as to your statement about them ending up in 3 pieces anyway..= .. I use a floating system =3Bwhereas the screws tighten down on stainl= ess shims=2C thicker than the baffles=2C thereby letting the aluminum baffl= e float. =3B So far 90 hours=2C no issues. =3B

It's enough work getting the front &=3B back assemblies on as it is= without having them tied together.  =3BWhy add the fabrication work of= making it all 1 piece?

I am working on it. Inventory 25% done. So far nothing missing. DB Schenker took really good care of all 5 crates. Nothing bent or damaged either.
