For those who like myself really don't have the time to do 100% of this upgrade and may have few other local options, I found that one of the Zenith distributors will do this whole job for $4500 plus the kit. It is http://www.zenithdistributing.com/ If you can fly the plane to them (ferry permit?) or truck it, this may help some. If interested call them at 813-779-1156 or 813-690-1916 and speak to Russel.
If I was not 1200 miles away, I would already have written out the check.

I will do the upgrade for $2500.00 plus the kit.
I live in Louisville Ky
I have built 3 601's and have one wing almost finished.

Not to mention we can get a fairy permit if need be and we have a pilot that will fly your plane to our facility then return it to you after the mods are finished.
