Hi Gary,
There is an unsealed gap between the cowl and the on top of the engine. Please see the pic. I imagine it lets some cooling air escape. Have you been sealing it somehow? If you have, could you please post some pics?

OOps. Isn't that mentioned in the Instructions?
Use baffle seal material and fabricate the seal. You can rivet into the fiberglass. Use the broad head baffle seal rivets. I'll see if I can attach a photo. After loading 2000 photos from my trip to Philippines, Yahoo crashes when I open iPhoto. Can't sort through the pics I guess.

Boris,
I talked to the FAA LA-ACO and I can make the baffle with the smaller opening for the oil cooler. I need to get the minor change approved, but, I think that will go pretty quickly.
