Troops,

Here I sit in the cold winds of Delaware. No snow, but give it time. While cold outside, I am surrounded by the warmth of love ones.  The wife of 46 years, our children and 3 of the world's smartest and best looking grandchildren. Tomorrow we will celebrate our faith together and there will be traditional gifts and foods.

All is well.

I want wish you all a Merry Christmas, and a Happy Hanukkah. Dede and I want to wish you the best of a New Year too.

G’Day All from Aussie,

Well I guess that we are a little bit better off weather wise than Pappy.
Beautiful day here in Adelaide, early morning (4 AM ) thunder and light drizzle which has left us with a beautiful day for Xmas.
Early morning breakfast on the porch overlooking the sea with Barbara my wife, son and 2 grandchildren and the whole family plus others here for lunch.
The cooking started yesterday and a bit to go yet in the webbers and so on.

How blessed we are.
We fly Changs and Yaks (18T in my case) and other nice airplanes, we have a terrific yak-list site where we all can happily (most times) share and communicate with each other.

Today will be a bit of a sad event for us as we lost our eldest son of 39 years old about 10 weeks ago so it will be the first Xmas without him.
But as Pappy says, we are surrounded by loved ones, so remember him and also celebrate Xmas.

So all is also well and Barbara and I wish to wish you all a Merry Xmas and a happy New Year.

From Kandahar Air Base Afghanistan...Santa did not have Mode 4 Codes and no MWS. He kept on going..
