I took an old spark plug. took out the ceramic and got a 1/4 inch pipe tap and threaded the inside of the plug, then installed my air hose adapter that fit the compression tester. to get the ceramic out, I think I ground off the metal that was crimped over the ceramic. the hole was a bit large for a 1/4 inch tap to get a good set of threads,, but there was enough to make things hold. you can use silicone on both threads before assemble then let it dry,,, or a lot of teflon tape. if you cant find a tap,,, you could drill to fit and solder the adapter in.

Hi Boyd'
I used a 12mm x 1.25 thread pitch bolt , drilled a hole lengthwise , then brazed an air conector
to the top of the bolt, works great in the little 12mm spark plug hole. Stopped at that
point and played a round of golf. Will get to the compression check this afternoon.
Thanks for your idea--I couldn't figure out how to get the ceramic out of an old plug.
