My Pulsar XP wing tanks were resealed with Jeffco many years back after removing the remanants of what was left over from the original sealer shipped with the Aero Designs wing kit. There has been no evidence of degradation of the Jeffco with the exception of the fuel filler transition area from composite to aluminum filler ring. That area was treated with the more flexible polysulfide close out plate sealer. The specs for Jeffco are available on-line. It is an industrial tank sealer that is rated for even acid exposure.

Yes I have only used 100LL one time while on a long trip out to western Kansas from Illinois. I use 87 Octane with up to 10% ethanol. I currently have 343 hours on 912UL Rotax engine. At 5100 RPM cruise is 140 MPH and at 5500 RPM cruise is 150 MPH (tricycle gear/large wheel option and 145 lb pilot). Propeller is GSC controllable pitch hub with Warp Drive blades. The auto fuel burns very clean with no fouling of spark plugs or carb malfunction. As I mentioned earlier, where there is a transition between dissimilar materials, I would coat that area with a polysulfide fuel sealer and not count on Jeffco as it is brittle.  The polysulfide material can be applied over Jeffco. Jeffco can not be applied over a polysulfide coating as it will crinkle and peal away. It is a good idea to periodically use an inspection mirror to inspect the areas inside the wing tank at the fuel filler ring and the aluminum vent tube for hair line cracks (if Jeffco is primary sealer in use).

I used about 12 gallons of MEK to remove what was left of the original sealer that was literally washed out from the use of 87 octane fuel with ethanol. I contacted various sources for obtaining straight ethanol to work with and found none willing to sell small quantity of pure ethanol. I used scotch brite pads wired to a pole to scrub the inside of tank (pouring MEK into horizontal wing tank) while working outside wearing respirator and protective gear to protect eyes and skin from the extremely toxic MEK. It is a bit of a daunting task to keep the MEK out of contact with the finish paint on the wing....I managed to do so. I worked as quickly as possible by pouring in approximately a quart of MEK, scrubbing and then dumping until I got the job done. The MEK is very harsh on the interior room temperature cured glass tank coating...so speed is of completing job is very important. Jeffco is much easier to apply and was less expensive compared to PR1750 (it has very good wicking properties on a clean surface. It does require two coats as gas release during curing causes pin hole formation. Last I checked, Lance Air was found to have a long history of using Jeffco and that was good enough for me. As I mentioned earlier, one has appreciate the limitations of the product.  That is why there are some applications where I would consider using a polysulfide in addition to Jeffco (coating over Jeffco) to bridge transition areas from composite structure to aluminum.
