Hi Yakkers,

I just had the copper washer replaced on the end of my cht wires at the annual inspection. Ran the plane today and the gauge under read and was wavering quite a bit. Has anyone experienced this problem before or know if the gauge can be calibrated.

Those CHT gauges working off one sparking plug are inevitably not that
accurate. However making sure that there is a perfect contact between the
"washer" and the cylinder head is important.
