Mal my KF IV Speedster is 660LB Have not dynoed, but am jacking up the cc
from 1915 to 2275. I doubt that I am getting 65 hp as I can only get 92kts
WOT, 700 fpm solo and way less at 1200 lbs. My target hp was 70. Finishing
up a few projects then back to my new motor. Got 1.3 hours flying today.

"Just Dave" one of the many Dave's here (Dave F) got 102 MPH on an about standard day, (65 HP) 103-4 on a cooler day.
you have 92 kts = 106 MPH it means you have 73 HP if everything else is the same.

Jan, Good memory but Ron has a speedster and is over 100 lbs heavier that me to start with.
If I recall correctly Ron has a redrive on the VW . Should be a decent combination when all the tweaking done.
Ron, Any troubles with Carb ice on the VW ?

The Limbach 2000 (VW) we had in the club in our touring motor glider, SF25C had 80 HP at ? 3600 RPM, about 65 at 2900 RPM if I remember it correct. it had an zenith-Stromberg 150 CD carb. I think.
