Hi Folks:



My name is John Hauck.  Have owned and flown with Rotax 912 (before the days of the 912UL and ULS) beginning in 1992.  Started out with a 912, then two 912ULS's.  Have accumulated a little over 3,000 hours on these engine during the past 22 years.  I fly a 1992 Kolb MKIII.  The first 220 hours on the airframe I used a 582, that promptly seized in 1993.  What a difference the 912 engines made on the MKIII.  



Hope to learn more about our engines here.  Maybe I can pass along some of the experiences I have had flying two and four stroke Rotax engines for the past 30 years.
