This problem has been managed with crimped splices
for decades . . .

You can bring multiple wires into any of the
PIDG (or equivalent) devices as long as the
devices is sized for cross section of copper
in the proposed joining . . .
Soldering them together under a heat-shrink
cover is equally functional . . .
