I have a problem with a cylinder head. No amount of lapping will make the valves seal. Before I invest in machine shop time/new parts or send it to LOM for overhaul I thought I would ask the list if anyone has a serviceable head they might be willing to part with.
Thanks!
Steve

Hi Stephen
I have a spare head, but I suspect that getting it to you from Australia would be slower and more expensive than your other options. Do you know why lapping doesn’t lead to a seal? Some precise measurement of the valve seats, guides and the valves themselves may be helpful.
Regards,
David

Thank you David. I suspect the guides, but will be taking to a local machine shop tomorrow to find out for sure.
