I am sure we discussed this before but, I have 912 S and am wondering what type of oil to use? I have motorcycle oil in it now. Is there anything better I could use?

I have used Mobile 1 MX4T 10-40 Motorcycyle oil in my 912UL for 150 hours and have been very pleased with it. This is one of the oils recommended by Rotax.

Jon,
Log onto the Rotax owners association website at:
http://www.rotax-owner.com/sdocs.htm
Go to the Service Document Retreival system and using the word search
function type in the key words 912 oil . Near the bottom of the page is
the following document SI-18-1997 which is the latest list of recommeded
oils. Keep in mind that there are different oils recommended for different
temperature ranges and fuels used. There are codes for the recommended oils
in the different range of applications.
