Clint,
I was just reviewing your photos I saved from 2002. Do you have a part number (J. C. Whitney) for the landing light. I also assume you have a seperate switch and circuit breaker for it? Thanks. Jeff Classic IV

Jeff,
Bill Willyard (on this list) has a pretty nice landing light - with position control. I took the attached photo at the JXN fly-in.
I don't think Bill will mind we sharing.
I don't know what bulb he used but he's pretty resourceful.

Hi,
Just back from hospital with some back problems. I think that it came with a set of 2 and the box maybe in my hanger-garage. It did use the standard 50 watt quartz h bulb. I think it has lasted for hundreds of hours. Cost only a buck or two, carry spare. Use it in landing pattern in flashing mode. Better then strobes on final. Yes I have seperate breaker and swith. I have it aimed about 50 down the runway and works fine. Clint
