Our local news station has a very nice piece on Cliff & Betty. All three of
the boys are in it.

I have just seen the video clip and what a nice tribute to Cliff and Betty
Shaw. As I prepare my Europa for its first flight it is a salutary reminder
that flying is risky, but their sons reflect that it was a part of Cliff and
Betty's life that they shared and enjoyed together.
I do not know whether I had met the couple at Sun'n'Fun over the last couple
of years but like many in the Europa family I got to know Cliff through his
e-mails and contributions to the dissemination of information.
They will be missed by many, and I send my family's condolences to his
family and all that knew Cliff and Betty.

I really appreciated the link for the video. Being an "old timer" on the
list I have had the pleasure of meeting Cliff and Betty on several
occasions, and they were delightful people to know.
Cliff's obvious pride in his aircraft was infectious. Anyone looking at his
aircraft couldn't fail to be inspired with their own projects. He was a
true craftsman and innovator.
He will be sorely missed from the forum, and I am sure, from many other
places and by many other people as well.
Please pass on my condolances to his family for me.
