I called the Crews Inn this morning and they said they could have someone 

pick us up at the airport and take us back.



All I need is the ETA on Friday.  My guess would be between 12:00 and 12:30 

PM Friday September 1.



Please let me know if this is OK and I will let Crews Inn know.

Wayne, just give me an ETA on Saturday and we will make sure you get picked 

up somehow.

As to bikes I called both places this morning:



Reality place said (252-928-2924):  $23 for three days, they will make a 

reservation and deliver/pick up bikes at the airport but they only have 24" 

or 26" bikes.



Slushie Stand said (252-928-1878):  $25 for three days, they have 24", 25" 

and 3 wheelers but will not make a reservation.



Since Lynnie would be more comfortable with a 3 wheeler, so I'm leaning 

toward letting the Crews Inn pick us up and renting from the Slushie Stand.



So it boils down to have it your way.



If you want the bikes at the airport when you arrive call the Reality place 

at 252-928-2924 direct line and make your reservation.

If you want to wait till you get there and rent from the Slushie Stand just 

do it.

Isn't it funny, those of us that might want to work can't  and those that don't want to work, have to.

I plan to arrange for  bike delivery to the apt, but I haven't yet.  I doubt we'll be able to  depart before 4 PM Friday...

Thanks for researching this, Cappy.  I was quoted a higher price from

the realty co and will have to see about adjusting that 



As for ETA, I'm not sure how that will play out.  I usually work till

3 on fridays, so a 4pm departure would be realistic, but you never

know.  With two kids in college and a glass panel to finance, working

makes more sense than taking a 4 day weekend, in a perverse sort of

way.

Our bikes are being delivered to the airport ... that does not necessarily  make my wife happy ....knowing that she will have to carry baggage on the bike  .... but if the weekend is anything like last year ... will be worth it if I  have to carry all the baggage or make several trips !!
