I just got word that a new guy might be joining us at the beach for the weekend.

Name's Ernesto.

He said to pack an umbrella and strong tie-downs. And that we
wouldn't be needing any sun block. I say let's not let him join the
group.

I'll be honest - I hadn't thought about that, but it would work.
Wouldn't be quite the getaway for me as for everyone else, but the
company would be great. The Labor Day forecast up this way was never
a problem.

Looks like Ernesto is giving the forecasters fits trying to predict
its path, but this morning's forecast is more to my liking for the
Outer Banks compared to last night's.

Let's just wait and see.

Didn't mean to put you on the spot...but we should be thinking of
alternate plans, if any. Not sure what the Crews Inn is expecting as far
as cancellation notice, should that become necessary...

Okay; put that in the hopper as well. Would last-minute plans be a
problem as far as accomodations at Ashe Co., Reno?

If you'll decide to try Ocracoke again later, please let us know. Would like
to do Ocracoke with SERV sometime. But not Labor Day weekend. Sorry the
weather messed things up for you guys but I am hoping it is far enough north
to allow us to fly to Sea Island/Charleston Exec.

The wx looks fly-able for Sat-Mon at Ashe (and maybe even Ocracoke,
too, but we need to focus on Ashe now and forget Ocracoke until
another time).
