Just saw on CNN that they are now calling for Ernesto to stall over the Carolinas will tons of rain, etc ... could be a total washout for the weekend .. hope not !!

Wx Channel online has updated the storm track to accelerate more
rapidly to the NC/VA line by Friday am amd not drop to below tropical
storm intensity until Saturday, so they seem to think it will maintain
or add energy across the Carolinas. That looks bad for all weekend
possibilities.
We need rain here, but I wouldn't have chosen this method or timing 
I still say we wait till tomorrow morning before deciding what our
next move should be.
