Hi Bob,
She's not really "belted in" ...she's been locked in the "Cat Box"
and it's bungied down... ( shhhhh, don't tell her it's a "cat box" )
Although, I have a Harness for her that goes around her neck & Chest...
I've been thinking about setting her in the back seat with "two" leashes
one on each side...giving her a little freedom but keeping her in check...
I've also been thinking about her riding in front , between my legs...
But I think for now she feels a little secure in the box...She sure doesn't have any problem going in it....in fact I have a hard time getting her back OUT to put her sweater on.....I have to just walk away...then she tries to follow....
You said your dog is happy to wait for you....I used to leave mine in the truck too , but on longer flights that wouldn't be very good...
and now...She just wants to go!
