I'm thinking Stagg Airpark (7NC1) on Saturday and Goldsboro (KGWW) on Sunday 

for the airshow at Seymore Johnson.

Would be nice to go to the airshow but we (EAA242) have our Annual Meeting (fly-in, drive-in) at a local private strip.

Hey MEMBER(!!), you are talking about we(!!!)  



It is YOUR annual meeting as well. You plan to be there? Dardens is the airfield.  BEE-YOU-TA-FULL grass strip with a few nice surprises on the field.



Meeting starts at 1 with a lot of eating (of course) and the "election" of new officers. Unless I can coerce to "volunteer", I may end up being elected prez. 



Seriously though, thanks for the compliment on the "hangout". Couldn't have done it without ya.

As Bill mentioned we plan to make the help "Save our Airport" stop. Saturday the 21st.

Just got back from a great trip to the Beech Party (at) Tullahoma (got a ride 

in a Staggerwing) / I talked to a person (at) GWW and he didn't sound very 

encouraging on them being able to give us a ride / he suggested taking a cab 

to the mall and riding the air show bus to Seymour as he said traffic is 

quite heavy / getting a taxi from the mall back to GWW would also be easier 

/ Tim's generous offer of a ride in his truck would also be welcome if we 

can coordinate arrival times

11am is fine with me. I'm planning to drive most of  the way Saturday night and get a room. I can swing by GWW and pick everyone  up Sunday morning. Just let me know what time. I think the show opens at 9am and  the flying starts at 10am.

Thanks Tim, that will be wonderful.  11 AM is great.  The  Thunderbirds don't come on till 3PM and after their show we will probably head  back so as to get home for dinner.
