I am posting for the first time. I am in the process of purchasing a CJ6-A,
with a buddy, from Victoria Air Maintenance in Victoria, Canada. I
understand from an old posting, copies of various manuals and other
documentation related to the Nanchang are available on CD. (Brian Lloyd)? I
would like to obtain a copy of this CD if possible. Please someone let me
know! Taking delivery in two weeks and looking forward to the thrill and
privilage of owning a CJ-6A and the large step up from a Cherokee 140.
Many thanks,
Pete Waddington,

Pete
I can send a copy of the CD. Email your address to me.
The CD is great as a back up to replace lost or damaged pages and to carry aboard the plane as reference if maintenance needs to be performed while outside the 300nm.
You need a hard copy as shop reference. Much easier to use. Contact Doug Sapp for the hard copy.
Share the CD with anyone that you wish. Its free.

Hi Peter, and welcome to the Yak-list. I have also just bought one of Vicair's CJ's (C-GYMK) and I'm hoping to come out to BC and fly it back to Ontario in early November (Transport Canada paperwork allowing). I have yet to actually see my bird, except a couple of pictures when fresh out of the box, so I'm getting plenty itchy to get the keys.
Any tips on routings through the big rocks in early winter (Pitt Meadows to Lethbridge or Pincher Creek) would be appreciated as I'm more accustomed to passing by them at FL390!

p.s. When you procure a copy of the CD I'd appreciate a copy as well if it's no bother.
