Answer: No. Calculate the correct size of the wire using the current
load of the circuit and don't forget appropriate fuses sized to protect
the wire. Use only quality aviation wire such as MIL-W-22759/16
available at any aircraft supply. This is not the place (is there any?)
to save money in an airplane.
