I have searched in vain for a picture I’m sure I recall seeing of Bob Harrison’s tapered lead-in feature to ensure that the flap drive pin lines up with the cross-tube as it approaches during rigging. Bob mentioned his “mod” (I’m sure it’s NOT a mod as far as LAA Engineering are concerned!) in a posting to this list back in 2005 but I can’t find a reference to a picture.
I have an idea how I might construct and shape such a thing - I’d rather like to see if my ideas match those already proven to work!
Bob - do you have a pointer to a photo of these parts, please?
in friendship
