Subject: Fly Over Request for Lt. Col. Clifford A. Farfel (Retired)
Sir,
I realize the lateness of this request, and would completely understand if this was an impossible or impractical mission for you all. If you know of other avenues to request this great honor for my father, we would appreciate knowing other points of contact.
My father served in the Army Air Corp, and then the United States Air Force, from 1942 until 1970. In WWII, he was a door gunner on B-29 sorties out of Saipan, and over mainland Japan. He was awarded the Purple Heart in this capacity, and went on to receive a field commission, and retire at the rank of Lt. Colonel after commanding a munitions squadron at Clark Air Base supporting fighter and bomber sorties over Viet Nam.
He died at the age of 92, October 25th, 2014. His memorial celebration will take place 15 August, 2015 at his Hermosa Creek residence, 8 miles north of Durango, CO, just inside the Hermosa Creek Canyon.
I sincerely appreciate your consideration of this request.
Respectfully,
Tim Farfel, Major, USAF (Ret.)

Hey Blitz,
I have a shout out to the Colo group but Durango is in the middle of the Southern part of the state and high Alt as well, I don't know if we'll be able to get it done.
