Hello,

XS mono MG wing
I’m almost to the point of gluing the fuse top and need to plan the routing of rudder cables and fuel lines from the fuel selector to the firewall.

Have some doubts

1. Would be necessary to have rudder cable guides to get around the counter weight vertical bulkhead?
2. Where the fuel lines should emerge at the firewall and which route inside the cockpit should they take?

Best

Wladimir

Vladimir, I recommend running your rudder cables through the wheel arch in some hard plastic tubing, (with something like 6 or 7mm internal diameter). It weighs next to nothing is virtually free of friction and keeps mud off the cables. Route it the shortest way along the sides of the tunnel. I guess fuel hose routing might depend on engine but for my 914 it worked well to come through the R edge of the removablebulkhead at the back of the wheel well, then to run up the R side of the tunnel roof to emerge at the top of the firewall section of the tunnel, where it allowed a reasonable curved approach to the fuel pressure regulator.
