Hello Kolb Builder,
I am soon to start on the brakes for my Kolbra…I never have worked brakes on anything other than dog sleds or a horse, so I am all ears! The question is what kind of brake line is best for this application? I am going to start out with the “drum” style brakes that came with the kit…I will upgrade late if need be.
Thanks for the help.

Nick, I'm assuming you are talking about Azusa brakes. Two tips; one, if you have the 4 1/2" brakes,Azusa makes left, right, and center offset actuator arms, the larger ones have a universal lever that works either way. Happily Azusa now sells directly to the public. Two, use motorcycle cables, not bicycle cables which stretch and need to be adjusted far too often. When I visited their web site to make sure my info is current I found that they're now offering disk brakes, too, although they're mechanical not hydraulic.http://azusaparts.com/
