I am running a Camit 40 amp alternator on my Jabiru 3300.

Does anyone know the Make and part number of the belt.

I don't need one yet but would like to replace it when the time comes.

It would be nice to find one at the local NAPA store.

 Thanks

You should be able to read the number on the top side of the belt. When I installed mine I checked the number and bout one from Auto Zone. Or maybe it was McMaster Carr.
I carry it in the plane.

Check the fitting instructions that came with the alternator. It lists the belt partnumber

Thanks to Ray and Rob for their help to find the correct Alternator belt for the Camit Alternator.

I have a number 3PK635 but I am not sure it is the correct length for the alternator mounted on the left hand ( pilot ) side.

More research needed. I did not get a parts list with my alternator.

I was also not aware they made one to be mounted on the right side.

				Hi Bobby,

The number at the end is the lenght in mm. So your 3PK635 is 635mm long. If you need a longer one, get a 3PK640. A shorter one? 3PK630. All of these are available for less than $10 online. '3PK' describes the width and type.

I didn't know there was a left-hand CAMit mount option, if so yours may be a one-off (or you have a pusher and it's a RH). Check if the current belt has any identifiers on it that may be a similar length indication.

        Rob
