Guys: I cut a V-shape wedge in a piece of pine about 10 inches long
that matches the trailing edge of the aileron and flap and attached it
to a rubber bungee cord with a stiff wire hook that I hook over the
inboard aileron hinge bolt. It overlaps the trailing edge of the flap
and aileron to lock them together. It works well to lock the aileron.
You could make one for each wing if you wanted to make sure you had
things secure. PAINT IT RED so you don't miss it.
To lock the rudder I made another piece of pine about 2 feet long (so
it sticks in front of the rudder pedals) and placed it behind a center
console that holds a few tools, glasses, maps, etc. screwed to the
center channel attachment screws just below the panel. (The console is
easy to make from aluminum sheet and a real nice storage space). The
wooden bar fits between the console and rudder peddles preventing the
peddles from moving. Make sure it is long enough you can't miss it
sitting in the plane and PAINT IT RED also.
A bit inconvenient but one way to lock the elevators is to tie a rope
around the stick and tie it to the back of the seat. Inexpensive fixes.

Be a little careful here. Remember when you adjusted the aileron linkages, you had to lock the elevator in neutral? If you try to tie the stick full aft with a rope or seatbelt, the ailerons will want to rise up a bit, exerting a lot of force on the linkages if they are rigidly clamped to the flaps.

You may have already seen this or are otherwise aware of the Bogi-Bar solution.

Still working well here as long as I remember to put it on.  Locks rudder 'softly' limits ailerons and elevator from hitting stops.  It  works well without any modification.  Works better with welded on tabs to fit into rudder pedals.
