Is it necessary, or customary, to replace the fuel line and fittings from the strainer to the fuel pump inlet on a Housoi to M-14P conversion in a CJ?

I see that the line necks down to 8mm at the fitting, which is sufficient (I think), but I wanted to hear opinions on it.
