Oddly enough I had some repair work done on my 500B lower door hinge, just this week. When I picked it up it was $20.00. I ask the machinist what it would cost to make the complete hinge. He said out of 4130 aircraft stock probably $60.00 I said was he sure he could do it for $100. he said how many do you want.

Help! Help! Help!
The upper door hinge on my 1970 500S broke at a previous weld and I am
in need of a replacement. We have one coming overnight from Washington
and got an e-mail invoice that the piece that broke and is being
replaced is $980.00. Has anyone had experience with this?
