I have scrach built one 701 and now have a Model III Kitfox .
love Kitfox so much I now have a Model 7 under work in the shop
Both aircraft takeoff and land in short order.
Kitfox: less time to build , due to quickbuild options
much higher VNE
more engine options
MUCH larger baggage ( see Kitfox for new baggage details}
baggage is low behind seat and is safer
easier to work on due to removeable boot cowl and glareshield
easy to convert taildragger to trike and back
wings can be folded by one person
hands down the Kitfox is the winner

I agree 100%
We had this dicussion a week or two ago.
Mind you I would like to see some flight test results of the 701 without
the slats and or with the Savanah ( 701 clone)
