<?xml:namespace prefix="v" /><?xml:namespace prefix="o" /><![endif]--> Filling up my tires today I found some greasy felt pieces in the outer wheel half. Is this a sign that the felt seal has failed? Time to repack the bearings? (50 hrs since last time)

				Brian
The felt probably broke and spit itself out. You need a new felt.

Hey Brian, the felt doesn't normally fail. It might have. I usually
replace them every few years, as a matter of course, roughly every
other wheel packing. The felt is cheap. Use AeroShell 22 for the
wheel bearing greaase. While it's all apart, clean up the brake
caliper guide pins and coat them with Anti-Seize compound.
