Does anyone have a PDF file for installing a Rotax 912 in a Classic 4
speedster? I just moved back from overseas and can't locate my manual
right now.

Where is the recommended location for the battery in a Classic 4
Speedster with 912 engine? I seem to remember it being right behind the
instrument panel, but I don't have the welded tabs that I remember it
saying to bolt the battery box to. I do have a tray behind the pax seat.

Thanks and Happy New Year. Perhaps this will be the year my Kitfox
flies.

My battery is an ODyssey pc535, great battery, it's location is on the left side of the firewall, inside the cabin. My elt is mounted on the try you speak of behind the seat.

Brent,

My battery box was mounted to the firewall on the pilot side. Now it is in
approximately the same location but in a tray mounted to the tubing on the
side with adel clamps. I went to a sealed battery and it doesn't require a
battery box. Sorry on the PDF files.

I could send a picture if you want to see it.

Lowell

Give me a day or so to check my manual...it contains the Rotax info
for the 1994 IV, and I'll send the section your way if it will help
you. I went with another engine so I don't need these pages.

Thanks very much Lynn. I've spent the last few hours sorting through
some parts and just found my manual, so I won't need it. I sincerely
appreciate the offer though.
