Sounds about right. Since we have a master switch
and just kill the whole electrical system that is fine.
I might try it with out the jump.

Just leave it disconnected, Stator takes voltage off
the neutral junction to turn a relay on (internal to
the voltage regulator). JUST TO BE CLEAR you
have both S and Stator output. Leave Stator OUT
alone.
