I put a web page up to show how I install the spring in a Bing 54 carb slide. I think most everyone knows this shortcut but there are always new guys starting out.
I still see special spring clip tools for sale so there must be some people struggling with this.
I can literally remove the slide, move the needle jet position and have the spring reinstalled in less than 2 mintues with no special tools.

Hey Thanks for sharing...
I haven't needed to do that yet ( warm weather flier ) but I'll have to remember it....I've been told to raise the needle to the 3rd notch from the top when the temp is below 40....
Someday I'll finish my Enclosure and fly in those temps
