I saw where the NTSB report on the fatal 601XL accident last February in Oakdale, CA has been completed.   It doesn't list a probable cause and it didn't necessarily answer the questions I had.

I agree, there is nothing said about a missing bolt or nut on the rear wing 

spar as reported from a Canadian Zenith dealer.

The report goes into some detail about the main spar attachment bolts 

but doesn't even mention the rear bolts. That seems like a significant 

omission.

I believe the probable cause is yet to come.   The factual report is the raw data collected from examination of the accident.   Conclusions have yet to be made public.
