The date is March 15 to 18th. The 15th is a media day. It is suppose to be a flight from TIX to Daytona where a luncheon is to be held. The airshow days are 16-17-18.

Ken,
Getting ready to send out some info to my RPA guys.
Questions.
Do they have to be a member of VAC in order to fly in the airshow? NO!
Do they have to be a member of VAC in order to get their gas and oil paid for if they fly in the show? NO!
Do they have to be a member of VAC in order to get a hotel room if they fly in the show? NO!
What does a membership in VAC cost these days? $100.oo year for family of 2 adults, 2 children under 18, includes free admission to Museum for all for the year.
Free admission to Air Show for all, for all three days. $75.00 for a single individual membership with same privileges. We are working on setting a Life Time Membership according to age. It looks like around $1500.00 for under 50, with a sliding scale up in age and down in price after that, but it has not been finalized or approved by the BOD yet. Hope to do so before Air Show.
Our fuel and room poilcy is:
Air Show fuel and smoke oil.
Enroute fuel - both ways.
Room at $50.00 per night starting with Wed night this year for those that participate in our Media Day (must be approved in advance, by ME)!
Otherwise starts with Thur night, then Fri and Sat.
aggregate total of up to $500.00 Max., all aircraft. Anything other than this requires special approval.
All this is based on fact you must fly in the Air Show all three days, and NO PASSENGERS on Sunday, so you can NOT plan on a departure airborne, you will have land and pick up your homeward passengers. FAA says they will violate if we allow it. Last couple years we have had several people push this issue and I will abide by the FEDS request or we (the VAC) will catch it.
NO MORE MR. NICE GUY!
Hope this will bring out a few more airplanes and fun!
BTW, I could sure use your help in setting some mass fly-bys if you are interested and have the time.
