Thanks for that John,

Now i do not have to fear using a hammer on delicate things like a bearing any more.
I will use a "calibration mallet" instead!

Please note that if you are driving a bearing into a tight recieving area, a
piece of pipe or a socket must be placed over it, so that you are only
appling force to the outer race of the bearing. Otherwise you will damage
the bearing with your calibration mallet.
