Well, it's official, I've been at this CH-701 scratch
built project for one year as of March 31. I have
about 650 hrs listed in my builders log. That seems
like a pretty good effort on my part.
For my efforts I have a fuselage sitting on the
landing gear with the Rotax 912 UL sitting on the
mount (not bolted down yet). I have a rudder, h-stab
and elevator in storage. I also have my spar blanks
cut, wing ribs cut and bent, and a whole pile of other
misc parts ready to be bent. I also have a basic VFR
panel mounted in place. The panel came with the
engine package.
This is my first homebuilt project unless you count
the AcroSport ribs I made a couple of years ago. I
wouldn't be where I am today if it wern't for my local
EAA chapter, Jon's Homebuilt Help DVDs and Mark and
David from CANZAC. Also this list has been a great
help.

Congratulations, Doug. Sounds like you've made great progress. I had my one year building anniversary January 28. Time surely flies when you're having fun.
